FS17 Free Camera

FreeCamera is a simple mod that decouples the camera rotation from the vehicle. It allows the camera to keep its orientation while vehicles are turning.

Freecamera mode toggles through a new entry-binding (default Ctrl + V). The mode is saved and switched separately for each vehicle, for the internal and external views. Modes will persist for each view in which it is set, and this setting will be remembered when you view them again.

(Please note that the camera states are not saved to file and will not persist across game sessions)

Sometimes when using this mod, I cannot move the camera at all. It will just stay in place, and I have no control over it at all. The problem remains when I switch to the view inside the vehicle.

However, when I have some form of equipment attached, and this happens, I can select the equipment, then change the view (between outside and inside the vehicle) and it will start working again, until the vehicle is selected again. Deactivating the mod by using the button combination that activates it doesn’t fix the problem. It will persist till the game is stopped and started back.

I have had this problem without any mods but this one active, and with others active.

If there is anything you might be able to think of that would help, I would appreciate it. I use this mod when doing YouTube videos to keep the camera more stable for viewers. But it does present problems when the camera no longer becomes controllable at all.

Any chance this could be done for FS 25 please?
