FS22 Case IH STX Steiger Edit v1.0
This is an edit of TF Farms’ conversion of the STX Steiger originally made for FS19 by NEFG Modding.
While TF Farms’ version of the STX for 22 is quite ok compared to most other converts of NEFG’s STX, I began noticing several inconsistencies with the tractor. Inconsistencies that I decided to crack my knuckles, open the i3d file, and have a go at not only fixing these issues but putting my own spin on the tractor for 22.
This mod won’t nearly be as good as the STX Casearias modding is cooking up for FS25, but I hope it’ll tide players over until the jump to FS25 in November.
Basic Stats:
Engine Options: 275hp – 535hp
US/EU Flashers
K9 Dozer Blade attacher
Max Speed: 32km/h
Stuff that I’ve changed:
– Replaced the EU rims and tires for proper US Spec wheels, including 520 Row-crop duals and Triples from Firestone, Goodyear (Lizard), BKT, and Michelin, as well as 710’s, 650’s, 800’s, 900’s and the LSW 1400’s for BKT, Michelin and Lizard.
– Replaced the Seat in the Cab with the one from Casearias’ MX Magnum, and re-coloured the buddy-seat to suit
– Re-coloured the entire body of the tractor to match the CASEIH1 colour that all FS22-spec Case tractors have and cleared the rim colour warning in the log by matching the colour of the MX magnum’s rims.
– Added Concord, Precision Planting, and Kinze Monitors under the “Cabin Additions” to work with the FM-750 monitor, again taken from Casearias’ MX
– Improved the steering by toning down the degrees of rotation in the xml to try and stop the tractor’s “Bucking Bronco” habit (jack-knifing causing the front wheels to lift)
– Fixed the FM-750 Monitor’s loading screen so it now shows up and loads in while the tractor starts up
– New Mod and Store Icons
– Updated Mod desc xml to 80 from 62.
Everything else is largely the same as Technical Farms’ convert of the STX. Credit goes to NEFG for the FS19 mod, TF Farms for converting the mod to 22.
As per usual, log should be clean. However, if you run into any issues or queries, do not hesitate to let me know in the comments.
Happy Farming!
